Feb 9: LEARN TO BUILD trusted digital services by stepping into application security and DevSecOps

Training session offered free of charge to companies and the self-employed thanks to
FPS Economy – EU (NextGeneration EU) funding
Does your company offer online digital services (SaaS) to your customers and partners? Or are you a developer of these digital services?

Cybersecurity needs to be taken seriously, especially as the NIS2 directive is due to be transposed into Belgian law in 2024.

Join our session to find out how to make your digital services more cyber-resilient.

This CyberActive training session consists in two different modules :

  • Roadmap to application security
  • In this session we will guide you through the standards, paradigms and maturity models in application security. WE will do a hands-on exercise (evaluation of maturity level in your company and immediate steps to be done) and introduce you to bunch of practical tools by OWASP designed specifically to support software companies, developers and testers on the journey towards good coding and application security.

  • How to start implemeting DevSecOps ?
  • This session is for the companies struggling to keep their app secure, while continuing to develop new functionality. You will learn how to incorporate security tools into your DevSecOps pipeline and how to plan the regular code review and audits. We will introduce you to the categories of security tools and how to integrate them in CI/CD. In the end of session we will provide you with a hands-on demo of a DevSecOps pipeline with security in mind.
